Steven Shuttle

Steven Shuttle is a landscape architect at ERA. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph where he was recognized as a 2022 LAF Olmsted Scholar and awarded the ASLA Certificate of Honor. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning from the University of Alberta. Prior to joining ERA, he worked at an interdisciplinary design firm in his hometown of Edmonton. His thesis research explored enhancing the process for cultural landscape adaptive reuse, moving towards a more integrated and future-oriented approach in Ontario, and was supported by SSHRC. He is a director of the Friends of Allan Gardens, and serves as Junior Intern Councillor on the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects Council. Steven is interested in leading with landscape, and the intersections of planning, design, and stewardship of equitable and resilient places.
