{"id":9190,"date":"2013-12-03T12:50:58","date_gmt":"2013-12-03T16:50:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eraarch.ca\/?p=9190"},"modified":"2014-02-13T16:51:29","modified_gmt":"2014-02-13T20:51:29","slug":"9190","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eraarch.ca\/2013\/9190\/","title":{"rendered":"Culture of Outports to Botwood, NL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.era.on.ca\/blogs\/office\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/botwood1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"botwood1\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.era.on.ca\/blogs\/office\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/botwood1.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"325\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cultureofoutports.com\">Culture of Outports<\/a> program is about to start up again, for our very first winter community build, in Botwood, Newfoundland.<\/p>\n<p>Culture of Outports is a series of projects that uses research, design, and planning to make modest interventions that engage with, and help support, livable communities undergoing economic and cultural change after the decline of the Northern Cod Fishery.<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"More...\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.era.on.ca\/blogs\/office\/wp-includes\/js\/tinymce\/plugins\/wordpress\/img\/trans.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In February 2014, team leaders from ERA Architects will be joined by a group of Ryerson students in\u00a0Botwood, which is located in Notre-Dame Bay, an hour\u2019s drive northwest of Gander.
