Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum

Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum

The Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum, located on Woodbine Avenue north of Bloomington Road,  is a grouping of small heritage buildings in a grassy landscape, dedicated to the history of Stouffville and its agricultural heritage. In 2004, ERA was engaged to carry out a feasibility study and conceptual design for a new building that would connect two of the existing buildings.

In late 2008, ERA was engaged to develop the concept into a full design with contract documents, and to provide review of the construction. The new building provides an additional 9,000 square feet of exhibition, administration, and community space, on two floors, and barrier-free access throughout.
