Emily holds a Master of Science in International Planning from the Bartlett School of Planning at University College London and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) Specialization in Urban Development from the University of Western Ontario. Her areas of graduate and undergraduate research include the relationship between governance and social infrastructure in Hamilton, Ontario and the influence of the built environment on children’s active school travel in London, Ontario.
Emily brings with her four years of municipal experience with a strong understanding of zoning by-laws through her work in zoning, development planning and policy planning, as well as international experience in cultural heritage masterplan making in the UK. She is a Chartered Town Planner with the Royal Town Planning Institute.
