Ben Huntley, RIBA is an associate at ERA with over ten years of architectural experience and over eight years of experience working with heritage buildings. He is a graduate of the University of Liverpool and the Glasgow School of Art’s Mackintosh School of Architecture. Before joining ERA in 2007, he worked in Scotland, England, and Toronto on a mixture of new-build, extension, adaptive re-use, and conservation work, on residential, institutional, and mixed-use projects.

In his time at ERA, Ben’s work has involved all stages of building analysis, site planning, design, and detailing, coordination, contract documentation, site review, and project administration. His primary interest lies in the alteration and adaptive re-use of existing buildings, which he has been able to explore extensively at the King Edward Hotel in downtown Toronto. In all his projects, Ben seeks to employ modern interventions to provide fresh perspectives on existing spaces.
