Ana Martins is a heritage planner at ERA Architects. With a combined academic and professional background in both urban planning and the curatorial practices of public history, she provides skills to support a wide range of projects involving historical research and analysis, heritage interpretation, and the development of conservation strategies for evolving urban environments.
She is a trained archivist and architectural historian with interests in under-documented histories and arts-based approaches to the interpretation of intangible heritage. As an urban planner, she engages in the field of heritage conservation through planning studies and the analysis and application of heritage policies. Ana is a member of the Society of Architectural Historians and the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals.
