Tupac Espinoza

Tupac Espinoza has a deep understanding and experience in sustainable architecture, landscape design, construction management and project development. He obtained his Bachelor Degree in Architecture at Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria in Managua, while concurrently serving as a diplomat and civil servant for 10 years with the Nicaraguan Government in Europe and Nicaragua.

Before joining ERA, Tupac worked as a landscape designer improving public and private spaces in Ontario. As an Architect in Nicaragua, he had a particular interest in reducing environmental impacts, resolving social issues, and generating grass-roots economic opportunities. Using his strong strategic and analytical skills, Tupac has led participatory processes with communities and stakeholders to improve sustainable living conditions. He has worked with private, governmental, non-for-profit organizations and entrepreneurs to enhance leadership capacities for local management and the production of goods and furniture.

Tupac is constantly exploring the interconnection between existing buildings, emerging technologies, and sustainability. His work ranges from developing complex construction details with specialists to community engagement through participatory design processes, to provide solutions for various scales of projects.
