Thompson Nguyen

Thompson is a Toronto-based architect and alumnus of Carleton University with a Master of Architecture degree. His award-winning master’s thesis reimagined ancestral altars for queer and diasporic Asian communities in Toronto.

Passionate about city infrastructure and social impact, Thompson completed a six-month internship in Thailand in 2017, supporting health initiatives for communities affected by HIV/AIDS. In Canada, he champions initiatives enhancing community health, shelter, and food access within and beyond the Greater Toronto Area.

At ERA, Thompson leverages his BIM and sustainable design expertise by contributing to housing retrofits, heritage conservation, and adaptive reuse projects. Known for his teamwork skills, he collaborates effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver well-coordinated solutions.
