Raluca Dobrotescu
Raluca Dobrotescu is part of the Architectural Staff at ERA. She has an academic background in heritage engineering, and her thesis centred on creating a framework to ensure the ongoing maintenance of existing buildings. It delved into the process of researching, surveying, and documenting the condition of buildings in order to determine the corrective and preventive maintenance work required properly.
Before joining ERA, Raluca had worked on heritage conservation projects in both the private and public sectors. She was also involved in international projects, such the Bagan Workshop in 2018, where she participated in the documentation of several Buddhist temples in Bagan, Myanmar, and a project with the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from 2019-2020 to create a set of policies and standards for heritage conservation with case study examples.
