Nigel Molaro is a Senior Project Manager at ERA Architects and a recognized specialist in the conservation and stewardship of cultural heritage. With deep expertise in values-based conservation planning, he develops forward-looking strategies for renewing historic places in ways that meet contemporary needs. Drawing on his academic and apprenticeship education, Nigel embraces integrative, collaborative, and sustainable approaches to conservation.

Experienced in federal, provincial and municipal policy contexts, Nigel has led heritage planning deliverables for projects in Ontario and Atlantic Canada for both public- and private-sector clients. While his portfolio spans a range of scales, he specializes in large, complex, and high-profile projects. He is currently contributing to the rehabilitation of Centre Block and Parliament Hill in Ottawa — the largest, most complex heritage project ever undertaken in Canada.

Nigel is a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and a member of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals, where he serves on the Board of Directors. He is a past board member and graduate of the Willowbank School of Restoration Arts — an institution internationally recognized for pioneering innovative approaches to heritage. His commitment to advancing meaningful causes and organizations has been recognized with both national and provincial honours.
