Kurt Kraler

Kurt Kraler is a registered Architect (OAA) and project manager. He completed his Master of Architecture (MArch) degree at the University of Waterloo where his thesis work was recognized with the AIA Henry Adams Medal for academic excellence.
Through his research, Kurt developed an interest in historic signs. He is the co-editor of “The Signs That Define Toronto”, a book published in partnership with ERA and Spacing that reveals the history, culture, and stories of the city through its unique signage.
Kurt’s work at ERA includes a wide variety of projects from the conservation and adaptive reuse of existing buildings to the design of new additions and urban infill buildings. Notable projects include Cambium Farms, the Summit Wellness Centre, Redtail East Winery, and 556 Yonge Street.
