Kiera Hughston

En Français >

Kiera completed her graduate studies as a part of the charter class of the McEwen School of Architecture. Her master’s thesis examined the history of craft and its precedence within the architectural discipline, analogically translating techniques from the fashion industry of Haute Couture to result in the final design project of Le Musée des Métiers de la Haute Couture.

As an Intern Architect, her experience spans from residential to institutional projects within the Greater Toronto Area, primarily focused on the development of the UofT Schwartz Reisman Innovation Centre. Kiera continues to explore how the craft and evolution of existing infrastructure can enrichen the built environment and the communities they serve.
