Jacob Drung
Jacob is an OAA Intern Architect who holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto. His thesis, which explored novel approaches to repurposing space within Toronto’s historic Anglican churches, was recognized with an SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarship and an academic honors prize.
Jacob has worked with award-winning firms in Halifax, Toronto, New York, and London, where he gained experience in hospitality, commercial, and institutional projects, as well as both single- and multi-unit residential projects and design competitions. Jacob is passionate about research and writing, serving as editor of the UofT Daniels Graduate Journal, The Annual, and contributing to numerous other academic and professional publications focused on Canadian architectural history.
