Christie Ellis Wong

Christie Ellis Wong holds a Master of Architecture from Carleton University. Her thesis explored the heritage value potential in a late-twentieth century auto-oriented subdivision and imagined its adaptation to become a more environmentally viable community. Before completing her Bachelor of Architectural Studies degree in Conservation and Sustainability at Carleton, Christie studied History and Environmental Design at Dalhousie University.
During her time at Carleton University, Christie had opportunities to study and document world heritage sites. In Ottawa, she has worked with municipal and federal built heritage, through roles in both the public and private sectors.
Christie is seldom found without a sketchbook, and takes every opportunity to integrate hand drawings into her work.
