Rui Felix (OALA, CSLA) is an associate, landscape architect, and ISA Certified Arborist at ERA Architects. He holds a Bachelor of Design with Distinction from the Environmental Design Program at OCAD University (2013) and received the Master of Landscape Architecture degree at the University of Toronto, where he won the ASLA Student General Design Honour Award for his 2015 thesis.

At ERA, Rui specializes in landscape revitalization and adaptive re-use of cultural heritage landscapes and post-war apartment neighbourhoods with a focus on community engagement, participatory design processes, and low-impact development, with a record of projects that have positively contributed to more resilient, healthy and complete neighbourhoods. Rui is a frequent contributor to the Centre for Urban Growth and Renewal researching and developing urban design best practices for the revitalization of postwar apartment tower sites. He has also led several other public realm improvement and city park projects, leading from initial feasibility assessments through to project execution.
