Ce chalet se trouve sur une île éloignée de Pointe au Baril dans la baie Georgienne. ERA a conçu les rénovations visant un petit chalet récemment construit et a planifié de futures modifications et annexes.

Pour conserver son volume grosso modo existant, l’intérieur a été entièrement et efficacement repensé. Le chalet modernisé a été aménagé pour l’hiver et doté d’un nouveau loft, d’un plafond à voûte d’arête, d’un foyer Rumford en pierre et de riches nouvelles boiseries faisant appel à du bois neuf et récupéré, comme les chalets traditionnels de Pointe au Baril.

La fenestration a été révisée pour permettre des vues à 180 degrés sur l’horizon de la baie Georgienne. Une grande terrasse permet aux enfants de jouer et à tous, de profiter du nouveau panorama que procure la nouvelle forme architecturale du chalet. Pour terminer l’ensemble, ERA a également conçu une remise à bateaux à sec et une douche extérieure.
