As we enter another exciting year at ERA, we are pleased to announce our 2025 staff promotions. Congratulations to all those promoted, and we look forward to the continued success and growth of our amazing team.  

Senior Associate

ERA Architects is proud to announce that Sharon Hong has been promoted to Senior Associate.

Sharon Hong

Sharon has over 15 years of professional experience in the planning and heritage sectors. Her ability to navigate the nuanced interplay between urban planning and heritage conservation demonstrates her expertise, strategic thinking, and commitment to fostering sustainable and vibrant urban environments.

At ERA, Sharon has been a leader in the advancement of several strategic portfolios and in advancing community-based methodologies for expanding inclusivity in the practice of heritage. Her proficiency in managing diverse stakeholder relationships, her knowledge of heritage + planning policies and principles, and her aptitude for guiding projects from conception through approval have been invaluable to our team and clients alike.

Associates

ERA is proud to recognize the following staff in their new roles as Associates.  

Emma Abramowicz 

Emma’s work centres on the identification and analysis of cultural heritage value, and its potential to drive creative development strategies. She is enthusiastic about the potential for storytelling in the built environment, through conservation and multi-media interpretation.  

Emma Cohlmeyer 

Emma is informed by expertise in municipal development approvals, planning policy, and a deep appreciation for culture and heritage.  She is driven by a desire to be a part of a thoughtful and innovative design process. 

Marwan Sinno 

With over 25 years of experience, Marwan’s portfolio covers a wide variety of projects, with his role focusing on the implementation of quality control procedures and best practices for drawing production and detailing. Marwan’s thoroughness, extensive technical skills and attention to detail make him well-suited for complex projects requiring a high degree of rigour.
