Ryan Love LEED AP OAA is a registered architect and LEED accredited professional. He received his Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto after completing an undergraduate degree in architectural studies and philosophy. He was awarded the Graduate Admissions Fellowship and John Yamada Memorial Scholarship in 2003, and in 2005 was selected winner of the Yolles Design Competition. Ryan’s graduate thesis examined the relationship between architecture and perception (gestalt) theory in the context of social polarization in cities. His continued explorations have since aligned with broader interests in regionalism, critical tectonics, and adaptive reuse, informing a considered approach to design that seeks a mixture of new-build and restorative models.
Before joining ERA, Ryan served as intern architect at B+H Toronto/Shanghai and at Levitt Goodman Architects, working nationally and internationally on a diverse mix of small- and large-scale projects.
