Julia is an urban planner at ERA. Her interest in arts and culture first led her to complete a BA (Hons. with High Distinction) in Art History from U of T, and an MA (Cum Laude) in Arts and Heritage Management from Maastricht University, the Netherlands, before gaining a Masters of Planning from Ryerson University.
Julia has led community consultations, developed cultural programming, and conducted extensive primary and secondary research throughout her graduate studies. She started her career working as a development planner in the private sector. A combination of knowledge in development and municipal processes, and a deep appreciation for culture and heritage informs her work at ERA.
