Emma is an urban planner at ERA who has been fascinated by cities and the people that enliven these places since completing her BA in Sociology from the University of Guelph and Msc in Planning from the University of Toronto.

She began her career at a multidisciplinary planning and design firm working as a planner and project manager on a range of projects from high-level master and campus planning studies, to detailed site-specific planning rationale reports, to securing development approvals for large and small-scale projects in Toronto and beyond.

Her work at ERA is informed by a combination of knowledge in the development of municipal processes, a true appreciation for culture and heritage, and a desire to be a part of thoughtful, flexible and original design processes.
