Rui Felix

Rui Felix is a landscape architect and ISA Certified Arborist at ERA. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto where he won the ASLA Student General Design Honour Award for his 2015 thesis. Prior to joining ERA, Rui worked as an intern for a Toronto Landscape Architecture office and was the Director of Education and Field Operations for a Toronto urban forestry advocacy group where he co-authored the Cabbagetown Urban Forest Management Plan.  

At  ERA, Rui is involved in a number of landscape and urban design projects ranging from development and open space master plans to community design led projects. Rui is also a frequent contributor to the Friends of Allan Gardens helping to develop and implement the Refresh Vision Document; and the Centre  for Urban Growth and Renewal researching and developing urban design best practices for infill and revitalization of postwar apartment tower sites.

Rui is also a Board Member for the Toronto Regional Conservation Authority’s Regional Watershed Alliance.
