ERA is pleased to announce that Jan Kubanek’s Montreal office has relocated downtown (along with previous roomies The Commons Inc.), to the famous Belgo Building at 372, rue Ste-Catherine Ouest.
The six-storey Belgo Building, built in 1912 by Finley & Spence to house the W.H. Scroggie department store, is famous today as a hub for artists, galleries, designers, and other creative businesses.
While Jan, Emma, and The Commons thoroughly enjoyed their time in the Complexe du Canal Lachine in Saint-Henri, this move brings them closer to clients, job sites, and the bustling urban life of Ste. Catherine. Among the local attractions include the majestic Imperial Cinema; the unusual St. James United Church; MusiquePlus, with its throngs of screaming adolescents; and, of course, the Quartier des Spectacles, one of Montreal’s hotbeds of cultural life.
